CCCED will be presenting tomorrow at the Income Security for all Canadians Workshop in Ottawa, sponsored by BIEN (Basic Income Earth Network) Canada.
As a board member of Canada Without Poverty, CCCED Executive Director Vilma Dawson will be speaking to issues of Ensuring Economic Inclusion for Newcomers to Canada at this workshop – issues which include overcoming racialized poverty, creating more inclusive workplaces and communities, addressing concerns of affordable housing, and cultivating greater appreciations of newcomer talents and skills.
